Julie is Small Great Ventures' resident laugh track and advocate of good coffee, therapy, and books. She loves mood boards, laying out master marketing strategies, and educating folks on the importance of function and design.

Since 2020, Julie has worked side-by-side with early-stage impact founders building solutions to improve voter turnout, increase climate awareness, and rebuild the food system. 

Julie has built and led multiple marketing agencies; served as CMO to multiple startups; implemented dozens of customer acquisition campaigns; deployed multi-million dollar and grassroots economic development campaigns; and managed national and global initiatives. Her work includes The ACLU, Temerity Capital Partners, Asurity Technologies, #WeDC, Marriott International, Waldorf Astoria, Comcast NBC Universal, The George Washington University, Greater Washington Partnership, Washington DC Economic Partnership, and the City of Washington, DC. 

Julie also serves as a Board Member of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at George Mason University.
